WAEC e-learning is a portal launched by the West Africa Examination Council to help candidates who will sit for the WASSCE practice for the examination online.

About West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and Waec E-Learning

According to WAEC, West Africa Examination Council(WAEC) is an examining board established by law to determine and assist in the development of sound education in the interest of the English-speaking West African countries, to conduct the examinations and to award certificates comparable to those of equivalent examining authorities internationally.

The WAEC e-Learning aims at equipping the students for better performance in future exams, it also provides resources for all Waec-approved subjects that will enable you as a student to understand the standards required for success in respective exams.

Purpose of the Waec E-Learning Portal

The following are some of the purposes of the WAEC e-learning

  1. This portal is to help candidates see reasons why the previous candidate performed below expectations in the Waec exams.
  2. It also prevents a candidate from getting a below-average performance like the previous candidate.
  3.  It is also useful for candidates to check Chief Examiners Reports from 2008 to 2020.
  4. To generate a comprehensive analysis of candidates’ performance in all subjects by identifying their strengths and weaknesses, what they failed to do and what they ought to have done to perform better.
  5. And lastly to engage candidates effectively before, during and after examinations.

How to Access and Practice on the WAEC e-Learning Portal

To access the e-learning portal you have to follow the steps below

Step 1) Visit Waeconline e-learning HERE

Step 2) Look through the provided subjects, and select any of your choices.

Step 3) Click on the selected subject to reveal the resources and papers available for the subject you choose.

Example: WASSCE for School Candidates, WASSCE for a private candidate, Nov Dec etc.) from 2010 to 2021.

Step 4) Click on the content that shows.

Step 5) Click on the next button to go through the chief examiner’s reports and other available resources.
