Many of these Universities might not be that bad but no one wants to study in a University where most of its courses are not accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

1) Eastern Palm University

Even though Eastern Palm University was established by the former governor of Imo state Rochas Okorocha in 2016, NUC still terms Eastern Palm University one of the worst universities in Nigeria.

Eko Medical and Health Sciences University is second on the list of the worst universities in Nigeria with most of its courses not accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Due to its substandard teaching technique and lack of sufficient learning equipment in Nigeria,  Spiritan Univerisity (SUN) happens to be among the worst universities in Nigeria.

As a University, Spiritan University Nneochi (SUN) commenced academic activities in the 2018/2019 academic Session, with fifteen (15) departments/programs in the Faculties of Natural & Applied Sciences, Arts, Management, and Social Sciences.

According to National Universities Commission (NUC), most of its courses are yet to be accredited.

4) Hezekiah University

Fourth on our list of the worst universities in Nigeria to avoid as a Jamb aspirant goes Hezekiah University located in Umudi, Nkwerre Imo State, Nigeria.

Established as a private university in May 2015, Hezekiah University has not done much to improve its standard of teaching as it’s still under the umbrella of NUC’s worst universities in Nigeria.

5) Dominican University

Dominican university founded in 2016, located in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria is fifth on the list of the worst universities in Nigeria.

Dominican University has lots of great courses they offer and is also easy to get but unfortunately, NUC listed them as one of the worst universities in Nigeria due to it having very less courses accredited.

6) Clifford University

If you are a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church then getting admission into the school won’t be a problem, the only bad news is that they are among the worst university to study in Nigeria due to its lack of accredited courses and proper teaching standards according to NUC.

Clifford University which is Located in Ihie, Abia State, Nigeria,  is a public research university and also one of the world’s largest Christian education systems.

7) Skyline University

Since 2018 when Skyline university was established it could only boast three primary faculties. Maybe later in the future, they will improve but for now, they are among the worst universities to study in Nigeria.

8) Kwarafa University

Kwarafa University which is located in Wukari, Taraba State Nigeria is also among the worst universities in Nigeria why? well, they have very few courses offered in this school what is the point of attending a university that doesn’t have varieties of courses to choose from.

10) Crown Hill University

last on this list is non-other than Crown Hill University which is located in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

Currently, the University is divided into two faculties, home to a wide range of departments and courses.
